Magic Utilities can help you to keep you PC running like new and error-free. The program comes with seven useful tools, including a program uninstaller, a startup manager, a file shredder, and a file guard, which will make some of your maintenance tasks easier to perform.
Using its program uninstaller, you can forcefully remove any corrupted program from your PC. However, as it cannot remove multiple programs at once, it does not seem a very useful alternative as Windows' "Add/Remove Programs" component does just the same. By contrast, the startup manager gives a detailed view of the programs added to your Windows startup, and helps you to remove suspicious programs easily from your PC, the kind that may be slowing down your PC startup.
The best features of the program are its junk file cleaner and the file protector, which can help you to clean all the temporary and junk files, together with the IE cookies, from your PC in just two clicks. The “file protector” enables you to password-protect any file in seconds. You can also wipe completely any sensitive files from your PC using the built-in file shredder. The program also carries a “process killer”, which is not much better than Windows default task manager is.
